HCR-20(v3) and SAVRY Workshops

ProActive ReSolutions Invites you to upcoming Violence Risk Assessment and Management Workshops on the HCR-20V3 and SAVRY
One Workshop focuses on violence risk with adults using Version 3 of the Historical-Clinical-Risk Management-20 (HCR-20V3), and the other focuses on violence risk with adolescents using the Structured Assessment for Violence Risk in Youth (SAVRY).
In both Workshops, participants will learn key concepts and general principles related to violence risk assessment and management. The Workshops will deliver essential knowledge and skills related to administration of the HCR-20V3 or SAVRY. In the SAVRY Workshop, participants also will learn about major developmental concepts relevant to violence risk assessment and management with youth.
These Workshops are relevant for all sectors interested in assessing and managing violence risk, including criminal justice, victim services, health care, social services and education.
Learn from an Internationally Recognized Expert:
Dr. Laura S. Guy is Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She has a doctorate in clinical-forensic psychology. Her work focuses on forensic assessment, the role of mental disorder for violence risk, and violence risk assessment and management with adolescents and adults. Professor Guy also works as a Threat Assessment Specialist at ProActive ReSolutions Inc. She is the (co) author of over 125 articles, chapters, reports, manuals, and presentations and has facilitated numerous workshops on violence risk assessment and management around the globe.
