AETAP 2015 Conference Program

The board of the Association of European Threat Assessment Professionals is pleased to announce the program for the 8th annual AETAP conference. They invite professionals doing research and working in the field of threat assessment and threat management to register for this exclusive event that will be held in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Conference Program

The 2015 annual international AETAP conference will take place between 14th and 16th of April , with two Expert Seminars on the 13th and 17th of April 2015 at Hotel Schweizerhof, Lucerne. All sessions will be conducted in English. Translation to German will be provided from Monday to Thursday.

APATAP is pleased to announce a call for presentations for the 5th Annual APATAP Conference. After the success of our 4th Annual Conference we are anticipating this to be even more successful. The 5th Annual Conference will be held in Thailand and will include participation from threat management experts from around the globe. We are encouraging presenters in field work, academia and policy to submit presentations on case studies, recent research findings and program development.

Topics of interest include:

• Interdisciplinary and cross-cultural threat management • Violence prevention programs • 'Lone Wolf' attacks • Analysis of written threats • Complex and challenging case studies • Threat assessment tools and techniques • Stalking • Unreasonable complainants • Public figure threats • Violent extremism • Counterterrorism and group based violence • Elder abuse • Online harassment • Computer attacks and hacking • Cross jurisdictional prosecution • Sexually deviant conduct

All submissions will be notified of outcomes by 1 June 2015. No late submissions will be considered. If you are selected to be a speaker, there will be discount for your attendance at the conference.
